REFINABLE GOLD
We purchase all items made of gold. Refinable Gold are items that will be sent to a refiner and eventually recycled into new fine gold objects. These items are purchased strictly for their gold content. The first step is determining the purity of your gold items. Gold jewelry can vary from 8kt-24kt, with 8kt being approximately 33% pure and 24kt being 100% pure gold. Our buy prices for gold are always on a per gram basis, and are calculated throughout each day based on the up-to-the-minute New York Spot Gold Price. Do not be concerned if you do not know what karat your gold is, we provide all gold testing free of charge and in your presence. Once we have determined the purity of your gold, we will then weigh your items in grams and calculate our buy price on a per gram basis. Some of the gold items we purchase:

GOLD COINS
We purchase all gold coins from around the world. Gold coins fall primarily into two categories Bullion & Numismatic Gold. Bullion coins are worth just their weight in gold. We have extensive knowledge and reference materials to identify the gold content of virtually any gold coin from anywhere in the world. Our buy prices on bullion coins will be based on the most current price indexes. Numismatic gold coins have “collectible” or “rare coin” value beyond just their intrinsic gold value. Each numismatic gold coin is valued based upon its rarity and condition, and our buy prices are based on the most current pricing indexes. Please refer to our Rare Coin section for more information.
REFINABLE SILVER
We purchase all items made of silver. Most silver items are made of Sterling silver which is 92.5% pure silver. These include most jewelry items and most Holloware & Flatware items. (Tea Sets, Bowls, Trays, Platters, Pitchers, Candlesticks, and Silverware sets). Because of the high price of silver the value of many of these items is based on their silver content. These items will eventually be sent to a refiner, and recycled into new fine silver objects. Our buy prices for all of these items is on a per ounce basis, and is based on the up-to-the-minute New York Spot Silver price.
COLLECTIBLE SILVER
Antique silver is our passion and one of the primary fields in which we specialize. If you have silver items that you are interested in selling or having appraised, we can assist you. Please do not sell your antique silver for just its weight in silver to someone who does not have the knowledge to know its true value. We offer Free Appraisals on all silver items and can tell you in a matter of minutes if your silver items have real collectible value, and give you a quote. If, as in many cases, your items are worth just their weight in silver, we will offer you our buy price based on that value.
