Superb Gorham Martele Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Bowl. Produced and hand chased by Frederick Joseph Buxton Jr. in 1902, this bowl features a wonderful daisy & oak leaf design. Pronounced hammer marks throughout, with repousse and chased decoration in very fine, crisp detail. Sits on four repousse feet, and is composed of especially heavy guage silver. It is in pristine, unpolished, original condition. Fully hallmarked. Measures 8 1/4″ in diameter, stands 1 3/4″ tall and weighs 14 oz.
