Description

Gorham Martele sterling silver Bonbon or Olive dish. Martele was a limited production line of the finest silver produced by Gorham from the 1890′s until the 1930′s. All pieces are handmade and are therefore unique. This bowl features a very unique ribbon design very much in the art nouveau style, and wonderful pinched repousse feet. Produced in 1898 it measures 7″ long, 5 3/4″ wide and stands 1 1/2″ tall.  It is in excellent original condition, and is fully hallmarked with early Martele marks. Total weight is 9.25 oz.
