Large Federal Period Coin Silver Covered Sugar & Creamer by the American Silversmith Frederick Marquand of New York, NY. Highly ornate, floral motif with large chased acanthus leaves as the primary decoration. Beautifully detailed and superbly constructed handles, with acanthus leaf forefinger and thumb rests. Covered Sugar stands 10″ tall and weighs 29.5 Troy oz. Creamer stands 8 1/4″ and weighs 17.5 Troy oz. Both are marked on bottom with makers mark and are in excellent original condition
