Coin buyers

We have been buying, selling and appraising coins and coin collections since opening our first shop in 1989. Los Angeles coin buyers generally fall into two categories; those interested in the field of numismatics, and those interested only in gold and silver coins for refining. We are professional numismatists and can assist you as coin buyers if you are interested in selling your coins, coin appraisers if you would like to know what your coins are currently worth, or coin sellers if you are looking to add to your coin collection. We believe all investment grade rare coins should be graded by either PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) or NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation). These are third party professional coin grading services that authenticate and grade rare coins, and are recognized throughout the numismatic community. If we can assist you in any way concerning coins or coin collections please visit our Beverly Hills Rare Coin Shop, call to make an appointment, or fill out our online Inquiry Form and a representative will contact you promptly.  Some of the coins we buy, sell and appraise are:

World Coins

We purchase all coins from anywhere in the world that are composed of precious metal (Gold, Silver & Platinum) These coins fall under the broad categories of World Coins and World Bullion. The value of most bullion coins is usually very closely linked to its intrinsic metal value. Numismatic world coins can be quite collectible and valuable even though they have little intrinsic metal value.

Ancients

Ancients is a general term for the earliest coins of the world struck between 600 BC and 500 AD. Ancient coins are a very specialized field and have a great range in value.  From the very common, highly circulated specimens priced at under $25, to the very rare, high grade coins priced in the tens of thousands, ancient coins are amongst the most fascinating in all of Numismatics.
